I Love Italian Everything

So in the US we were choosing to see Tron and Yogi Bear over crazy ballerinas (Black Swan) and murderous cowboys (True Grit) and in Italy they were went wild for sexy shenanigans in Africa ( Natale in Sudafrica – Christmas in South Africa ) instead of Silvio Muccino’s African story (Un Altro Mondo – Another World)  . It must be some kind of Christmas tradition there – Christian De De Sica + traveling + boobs in a Christmas movie ( think: Natale a New York – Christmas in New York). People want  to rest their brains over the holiday – I get that. Why should it be any different in Italy than it is here?


In second place in Italy, I am happy to report, La Banda Dei Babbi Natale with Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, and in third place, The Tourist – Italy seems to like it better than we in the US do.


If I were in Italy right now I’d go first to Un Altro Mondo but I’m not gonna lie, I’d be in line for Natale in Sudamerica and La Banda Dei Babbi Natale the minute it was over!
