Don’t Move – Non Ti Muovere – One Hell of a Love Story

Penelope Cruz and Sergio Castellitto

So I’m having a kind of crazy week – I’m leaving for Italy on Thursday and  my husband and the cats will be left home alone. I’m freezing casseroles and stocking up on fancy feast and kitty litter so that nobody has to go to the store. I’m running around like a chicken with her head cut off – don’t you think that I’d love to sit down, put my feet up, and rewatch an Italian movie so that I could write about it?

To top it off, the idiot who has been hacking into my Twitter account and telling people to play “The Godfather” game in my name is at it again, so I had to dump the account and start again. @loveitalianmovies is dead – welcome the new  – @Cheri_Passell and her scintillating tweets about Italian movies.

Just wait until I get to Rome – you’ll be wishing I’d shut up about movies. But until then, let me get some stuff done while you enjoy this trailer from “Non ti Muovere ( Don’t Movie ). If you want to see Penelope Cruz at her most outstanding, rent this one. She plays Italia, a prostitute – and not a Julia Roberts “Pretty Woman”, high class prostitute either. Penelope is my hero for her bravery in this role.

The rest of the cast is amazing as well. Sergio Castellito (The Wedding Director) plays Timoteo, the man who becomes infatuated with Italia, and Claudia Gerini ( Iris Blond ) plays his wife.

Watch the trailer and you’ll be dying to see it; Non ti Muovere. This is one of the top 5 movies I’ve ever seen.
