Checco Zalone ( Luca Pasquale Medici ) is the latest big thing in Italy and his newest movie “Che Bella Giornata” did so well in Italy that it actually outdid “La Vita è Bella”
In his earlier “Cado Dalle Nubi” Checco” played a guy that knew that it was his destiny to be a famous singer. Here’s the Youtube video for a song from the movie, “Uomini Sessuali” (Sexual Men). He wrote it to sing in a gay bar after he found out that his cousin was homosexual,and he decides to show everybody that he’s in full support of gay rights with these lyrics:
The sexual men are just like us,
They cry, they laugh, they clap their hands,
Just like us healthy people.
It’s not exactly what you would call high brow humor, but I thing Checco’s on to something. Watch the video and then sing along with Checco – I’ve included the words.
