>Spring break in Italy, anyone?
Planning on the Italian Riviera or Cinque Terre? If you’ll be going to Genova (or “Genoa, as we Americans like to call it – didn’t like the “V” I guess) then watch Agata e la Tempesta (Agatha and the Storm) with Licia Maglietta from Bread and Tulips
. A lot of it takes place in the city of Genova and then the rest is across the city in Ravenna. The movie has subtitles in English.
Going to the lakes – lucky you! Watch La Ragazza Del Lago (I’m reviewing it in a few days). It was filmed at Laghi di Fusine, Tarvisio (not far from Venice) and it stars Toni Servillo (Il Divo, Camorra). The subject is sad but the scenery is beautiful.
If you are going to Naples – you’d better not watch Gomorrah – you might be too scared to go! It’s about the seedy parts of town where the organized crime group called the Camorra rules and it is excellent.
