Can I stop apologizing for bad translations and just translate this for you?
I make plenty of mistakes when I am speaking Italian. Once, when I was telling a bunch of people about a conference I went to where everyone drank too much the whole time. I said, “It was horrible! Everyone was drunk! Morning, noon and night they were drunk!”
Only I confused the word “drunk” with the word “Jewish” – the words are similar (and I’ll give you a minute to realize how bad this sounded). So now, there are people who will always think of me as antisemitic just because of my bad Italian.
Just keep that in mind when you read what I’ve interpreted – and let me know if I have insulted your ethinicity or religion in any way.
A spectacular journey of the Studios of Cinecittà to discover the secrets of the Cinema. With “Cinecittà, the Show” that opens next Friday we see for the first time open to the public the Cinecittà Studios just in time for the 150 Anniversary of Italy’s Unification.
The show is about the history of Cinecittà, the scenes, the costumes, the personalities.- actors, directors, producers that have defined the “fabric of dreams”. Cinecittà has always been the place in which dreams are made real, where writers and other professionals have the possibility to work with film makers to make the finished products.
The show was born as a tribute to all of the people who made Cinecittà great, to everyone who worked behind the scenes and whose talent contributed to the creation of films. The informative look reproduces every specific phase of film making from filming to post production, retracing the work of those involved in making films.
