And the nominees for Best Picture are: all movies that I have seen! All on the list were entertaining, but
“BASILICATA COAST TO COAST” is too cliché. There were no surprises, and no risks were taken. I liked it, but it is not award worthy.
“BENVENUTI AL SUD” is a very likeable movie, funny, and well acted. Is it serious enough for a best picture award?
“NOI CREDEVAMO” is a serious contender; beautifully filmed, well acted, directed and written.
“LA NOSTRA VITA’” is another to consider. It has an original, thought-provoking story and the acting is very good.
“UNA VITA TRANQUILLA” is the third I thought a lot about. This one has everything a movie needs – good acting, suspense, a compelling story…
