Selected for the competition at Cannes (from now until May 22) this year we have two Italians to root for:
Paolo Sorrentino’s “This Must Be The Place” starring Sean Penn and Frances McDormand, is the story of an aging rock star who comes to America to find a Nazi war criminal and right some wrongs.
And we have Nanni Moretti’s Habemus Papam, also an official selection. Starring Moretti himself with Margherita Buy, it’s about a reluctant Pope and his therapist.
