I knew that I loved Paolo Cortellesi back in 2007 when I watched “Tu la conosci Claudia?”, the popular movie with the popular comic trio, Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo. This year’s “best actress” in the David di Donatello award competition for her role in Nessuno mi può giudicare, Cortellesi is FUNNY. Normally, I hate women that are beautiful, funny, and likeable, but I’m making an exception with her.
In ‘Tu la Conosci Claudia” she plays Claudia who is, for some inexplicable reason, the wife of Giovanni,who is taking his gorgeous wife for granted and, for some inexplicable reason, Claudia wants to save her marriage. Eventually everybody, Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo wants her – and it’s just funny, Trust me.
There are no subtitles, but the whole movie is available on YouTube, Brush off your Italian and have a good laugh.
