Cheri’s Italian Film Club

With Oprah gone we need to fill the void – I’ve been thinking about a film club like her book club.

I’m posting today just to see if there is any interest in a club that, once a month, was given a film to watch and then discussed it, either in real-time or just in comments, with discussion questions that I provide.

Me, asking you.

I’d be very open to suggestions about the movies that we’d select to discuss, but I’d lean toward choosing ones that are the most available for the most people. If it were a movie that was in the theaters in Italy right now I couldn’t even see it – I’m here in America.

So what do you think? Anyone game? We could start with Silvio Soldini’s Bread and Tulips – Pane e Tulipani. Or another that you’d prefer?

Let me know.
