Valeria Golino must be coaching her boyfriend, Riccardo Scamarcio – his next two projects are English-speaking movies, one with Woody Allen and the other with Ash Baron-Cohen (Sasha’s cousin). He’s starring in Allen’s Bop Decameron, which they’re filming right now in Rome, and then it’ll be an Ash Baron-Cohen’s new film The Blind Bastard Club.
Also starring Lenny Kravitz, Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson, the $6 million The Blind Bastard Club is due to begin filming in April in Brazil.
The BBC, or Blind Bastard Club is a group of blind people who live life on the edge despite their disability by going to shooting ranges, jumping out of planes, getting into fights in bars, and pretending they’re not blind.
Riccardo’s long-time girlfriend Valeria Golino is one of the Italian actresses most well-known in America because she branched out and made movies here – the most notable, Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. Riccardo’s pretty good-looking – and a good actor. I think the US will take to him too.
