I’m Going To The Rome Film Festival Today – Virtually

Rainmakers

The Rome Film Festival ends today while mymovies.it presents an online preview of one of the winners. I’m not sure how this is going to work, but at 21:30 Rome time and 2:30 mine here in US Eastern Standard TIme, I have a virtual seat in a virtual theater for the preview of Rainmakers, winner of the Marc’Aurelio 2010 best documentary award. Directed by Floris-Jan van Luyn, it tells the story of group of Chinese activists who every day champion the environment that they live in.

If you are interested, through MYmovies Roma LIVE!, I  reserved a seat for the documentary and the conversation afterwards. There are only 500 “seats”, so go right now to  ( http://www.romacinemafest.it/ecm/web/fcr/online/home/my-movies/mymovies-rainmakers ) and grab one. I’ll let you know all about how it goes later.
