Friday December 2 at 5:00 PM (Italy’s time zone – for me, at 11:00 AM in US Eastern Standard Time), readers of MYmovies will have the opportunity to chat with Isabella Ragonese and Fabio Volo, the stars of the new movie, Il giorno in più (an extra day) from director Massimo Venier. The movie, which opens in Italian theaters that same day, is about a guy who becomes infatuated with a girl that he sees every morning on the tram and when he finally gets the courage to speak to her it’s too late – she’s moving to New York.
This is ringing a bell, for me. I read this book! Fabio Volo is not only a successful actor, but also a pretty popular novelist who did in fact write the book by the same name, the 2007 “Il giorno in più”.
Isabella Ragonese is one of my favorite actresses; the star of Dieci Inverni (ten winters) and La Nostra Vita (Our Life), I know at least one reader of I Love Italian Movies that has a BIG crush on her (you know who you are).
During the live chat we’ll be able to ask Isabella and Fabio questions, and all you have to do (I hope this is all you have to do) is register. I did it, but I had to say I live in Rome, because they only gave the choices of Italian cities and I don’t know if this will have any affect on my registration – I’ll let you know.
