
The Nastro d’Argento (Silver Ribbon) is a movie award that has been awarded yearly since 1946 by the Sindacato Nazionale dei Giornalisti Cinematografici Italiani, the association of Italian film critics. The Nastro d’argento is the oldest movie award in Europe, and the second oldest in the world (only the Academy Awards are older). The Award ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 30 in Taormina.
