READ MY REVIEW of ‘THE BEST OFFER’

A certain Italian movie blogger that you know and love will be in Italy for the opening of  Giuseppe Tornatore’s new English language drama, La Migliore Offerta, or, The Best Offer. Tornatore, who has won prizes at Cannes, Venice, and an Academy award for Cinema Paradiso shot the movie about an eccentric art dealer in Vienna and in the Alps. Virgil Oldman (Geoffrey Rush) is a famous art expert who has no interest in relationships until he meets a mysterious woman (Sylvia Hoeks) who changes his life forever.

Starring Rush, Hoeks, and Sturgess, the film is going into theaters with great reviews. Giancarlo Zappoli for Mymovies.it says : In the game between what appears to be and what is, Tornatore puts together an interesting intervention of assumptions.

There is no date for the US yet, but I’ll get to see it when I’m in Rome this weekend, so I’ll let you know.
