I’ve been getting emails and comments from people who are frustrated with Netflix, and I urge you all to write your own letters and let them know that they could do better.

Dear Netflix,

My name is Cheri and I have am the editor of I Love Italian Movies, a blog that reviews Italian movies  and promotes the Italian movie industry. We who love Italian films, all foreign film, really, are in the frustrating position of being at the mercy of many things that are out of our control. There are distribution issues that are clearly not the fault of Netflix, but you could make this a lot easier for us.

1) Please improve your search. For those of us looking for modern Italian films, it can be like looking for a needle in a haystack.  Can’t you just provide an easy to find list all of the available films by their year of release?

2) As DVDs give way to streaming, more and more of us rely on movies we can stream. When you limit the streamable movies, you create a very disappointing situation for us. We don’t have the same options as people who are looking for regular Hollywood movies. We need you!

3) Please give us more Italian movies! There’s an army of us out here that are hungry for foreign films!

4) The world of entertainment is changing and less of us even own DVD players. I believe that someone is going to find a way to serve us. Why don’t you resolve to make that someone Netflix?
