After his Cado Dalle Nubi and the huge success of Che Bella Giornata (earning $63,649,173, more than La Vita È Bella in Italy) , Pugliese comic Checco Zalone‘s (real name, Luca Medici) newest film is coming to theaters October 3 – Finally! They’ve been working on it for two years and the shooting started in Liguria but will go all over Italy. It will star Zalone and French actrice Aurore Erguy.

The director, Gennaro Nunziante, is Checco’s friend, the same that directed Che Bella Giornata and Cado Dalle Nubi, and the film’s theme? That’s top-secret, but there are rumors that it’s a road movie, with Checco playing a Pugliese guy who moves to Padova with his son.
