Coming For Open Roads: New Italian Cinema At Lincoln Center?

If you’d like to have a drink with some fellow Italian movie lovers – or just me, I’ll be at the Lobby Bar of the Empire Hotel directly after the Q&A for Paolo Virzì’s Every Blessed Day – Tutti I Santi Giorni, June 6th, the 6:30 show. I’d briefly believed to have an interview with Virzì, but he recently tweeted me to say that he will not, as Lincoln Center Film Society had published, be able to be in NY. Instead Luca Marinelli and Simone Lenzi will be there for the Q&A.

I’ll be heading back over to the Walter Reade Theater for the 9:15 showing of Marco Bellocchio’s Bella Addormentata (Dormant Beauty). Bellocchio is supposed around for the Q&A and I hope to see some of you there!
