Attention Italian Giallo Horror Fans: On June 20 Federico Zampaglione’s newest film Tulpa will be in theaters, four years after the success of Shadow. The leader of the pop band Tiromancino wanted to stick with horror this time and came up with this sexy thriller, one that looks like a treat for fans of 70’s giallo cinema.
In Tulpa, Claudia Gerini plays a businesswoman who finds her spirituality through anonymous sex and then learns that someone is killing off her lovers. Going to the police would mean exposing her lifestyle, so she sets out to find the killer herself.
