Thanks for this great information and reminder from Mary Sue Lyons! Let’s all start bothering Netflix subito!

I am replying as it is the only way I know to contact you. I wrote an article for the Sept. VT Italian Club newsletter titled Foreign Film Market in Crisis. The focus is that theaters have dramatically reduced the numbers of foreign films being shown and its impact on Italian Films. It suggests the importance of attending Italian films when they do show up at the theater AND requesting Italian films for their Netflix Saved List as Netflix uses those #s to factor in whether to make these films available. I am providing a list of Italian movies one can request for one’s Saved List: Caesar Must Die, Consequences of Love, Diaz: Don’t Clean Up This Blood, Reality, Shun Li & the Poet, The Great Beauty, Piazza Fontana: The Italian Conspiracy, and Happy Family.
Are their newer ones to be added to this list?
Is it possible that some of these movies will be shown at theaters here?
Can you give me a list of Italian movies where the rights have been purchased to show them in theaters here for a “watch for” list?
Grazie,
MS
