Thanks to Paola Cortellesi’s biggest fans, Paola Cortellesi NPF ( Twitter @PCnpf ) for letting us know that Carlo Verdone’s will begin shooting his directorial debut starring Carlo, Paola and Tea Leone ( Io e Te) tomorrow!

The movie is being called Sotto Una Buona Stella (under a lucky star), and it’s about a father (Verdone), separated from his wife, whose kids come to live with him when she dies.
His life, suddenly a tragic-comedy, is saved by his next door neighbor, played by Cortellesi, who takes in interest in the family.
Due to hit Italian movie theaters on Valentines’s Day 2014, “The ending will be for the first time not sad but full of hope.” Tea Leone will play one of his kids.
