I’m looking forward to Fathers and Daughters from director Gabriele Muccino, a new English language Hollywood project that has accumulated a pretty impressive list of actors.
To begin filming this spring in Pittsburgh: Russell Crow, Amanda Seyfried, Diane Kruger, Octavia Spencer, and Quvenzhane’ Wallis.
Fathers and Daughters is about a father and daughter, played by Crowe and Seyfried, living 25 years apart in New York City. Octavia Spencer will play the head of the psychiatric clinic where Seyfried’s character is a counselor for troubled children. Wallis will play a patient who hasn’t spoken a word for a year since her mother was murdered and Kruger will play the sister-in law of Crowe’s character, who blames him for the death of her sister.
