Those of you in the Los Angeles area, please don’t miss the LA Italia Film Festival starting February 23 and going until March 1. Valeria Golino and her bel fidanzato Riccardo Scarmarcio will be there, along with other directors and stars like Roberto Faenza, Paolo Genovese, Franco Nero, and Francesco Patierno. They are saying that plenty of American film people will be there as well, attending a screening of Sorrentino’s La Grande Bellezza which will be shown 48 hours before Academy Award voting closes.
Admission is FREE and will be held at the TCL Chinese Theaters located at Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood.
