SOTTO UNA BUONA STELLA
IT WILL MOVE YOU AND MAKE YOU SMILE AT THE SAME TIME

by Ilenia

The story begins with a family, Federico Picchioni (Carlo Verdone), his wife (Eleonora Sergio) and his two children (Lorenzo Richelmy and Tea Falco).

The family seems to be pretty unlucky, based on a series of events one after the other that reduces each to loneliness and unhappiness, that is, until the “star” shows up: Luisa Tombolini (Paola Cortellesi), also alone and unhappy until a series of comic events brings them together.

The film, defined by the melancholy director Carlo Verdone, succeeds in pulling off a few smiles even with the very serious and authentic themes; at the same time there are a few tears.

Personally I loved this film and the comic collaboration of Cortellesi and Verdone because it is full of emotion that makes one reflect, and all this thanks to the talent of the two great actors.

In particular, my two scenes;

In the first Luisa, after a terrible day, is delirious with fever and intoxicated.

And in the second, the stars simulate lovemaking on opposite sides of a wall to make each other jealous (from Cheri: I’ve seen this scene – classic Verdone!) .

VOGLIO UN SECONDO FILM CON LA COPPIA CORTELLESI-VERDONE!”
