Because we Americans love to stalk our favorite movie personalities, here’s your Italian Movies #FF:
If you love Luigi Lo Cascio like I do, run, do not walk, to his fan page on Twitter, @GigiLoCascio is a wealth of information about Lo Cascio, tweets regularly, and keeps me up to date on everything that is happening.
If you can’t get enough of Paola Cortellesi, you are in luck. Follow the fanforum, No Perditempo @PCnpf and you will never have to wonder what Paola is up to. These girls are WONDERFUL, and they will let you know everything. They’ve told me that Paola doesn’t want her own Twitter account because she doesn’t have time to manage it, so she is very lucky to have this fan club!
Ferzan Ozpetek is very active on Twitter, and sometimes he tweets in Turkish and I don’t know what he’s talking about, but not always. This is his official account and he seems to be personally managing it. @ferzanozpetek loves to talk about politics!
I’ve found the bello Riccardo Scamarcio on Twitter, and I am not sure if he is managing this himself, but it’s a pretty active account and it’s the official one. Follow @scamarciotweet .
And if you aren’t already, you must follow my favorite source and the best interviewer on the web, Marco Spagnoli. Marco is a journalist and movie critic for different media & outlets. He’s senior contributing writer for Il Giornale dello Spettacolo, Primissima Trade and contributing writer for Primissima, Vivilcinema, Cinema & Video and Globalist Network. @Marco_Spagnoli
Another director that seems to be managing his own official Twitter account, Paolo Virzì, @PaoloVirz , an active Tweeter (is that what they are called?) and well worth the follow.
