Starring John Malkovich, it’s an English language film about based on a memoir about growing up as a member of the Urka community in the small republic of Transnistria. It’s from the director of Io Non Ho Paura II’m Not Scared), Gabriele Salvatores.

I gotta be honest here, I tried to watch it, and wasn’t enjoying it so I never finished it. Maybe it’s just a boy movie. It’s very dark and violent, and if you like it let me know. Maybe I’ll give it another chance.
