“This Award Obligates Us To Invest Even More In Italian Cinema”

Dario Franceschini, minister of MiBAC (The Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities is the culture ministry of the Italian Republic), has been tweeting good news for Italian filmmakers and film lovers thanks to Alice Rohrwacher; “Amazing success for Italian Cinema at Cannes!”

 

Francheschini tweeted not long ago, “A young director, an Italian producer, and a film supported by the state, #LeMereviglie”.

Le Mereviglie’s award obligates us to invest even more in Italian cinema“, he tweeted.“The increase in tax credit on Thursday was only the first step.”

“The Gran Prix to Le Mereviglie”, emphasized Franceschini, “is another great success for Italian cinema and it proves, still another time, to be alive and well and appreciated around the world. I congratulate the director Alice Rohrwacher and the producer,  Carlo Cresto-Dina , for this important recognition. The MiBACT is proud  to have contributed to the financing of this movie and to have just approved standards that will contribute to endorse Italian movie productions”.
