We Will Turn Our Attention and Resources To Italian Cinema

Production company Medusa Film has announced titles that will be part of the 2014-15 line-up with comedies,  Paolo Sorrentino, Silvio Muccino and Daniele Luchetti.

Giampaolo Letta has announced that Medusa will invest 45 million euro (30 on production and 15 on promotion) and says that they will for the first time turn their attention only to Italian films.

“We will turn our attention and resources to Italian cinema. We’ll concentrate on co-productions and films that are exportable, like La Giovenezza from Paolo Sorrentino (co-produced with Indigo Films) with an international cast and filmed in English”.

His only regret: “Medusa doesn’t have Pif (Pierfrancesco Diliberto) in their stable.”

La Giovinezza, from Paolo Sorrentino.

Il Mio Amico Nanuk, from Brando Quilici and Roger Spottiswoode.
