Two brother, opposites in their personalities and in their life choices and with wives who hate each other meet once a month for dinner in an expensive restaurant. They usually have little to talk about until one evening an act of bravado by their children is caught on a video camera and the lives of both families are thrown into chaos. It’s a film that is provocative, painful, and liberally inspired by Herman Koch’s best-selling book, The Dinner.
I Nostri Ragazzi (Our Kids) is directed by Ivano De Matteo and stars Luigi Lo Cascio, Alessandro Gassman, Giovanna Mezzogriorno and Barbora Bobulova.
It’s premiering at the Venice Film Festival.
