A Musical Tribute To Bernardo Bertolucci On His Birthday

Happy birthday Bernardo Bertolucci: Thanks for all the cool soundtracks!

In Io e Te (Me and You), Bertolucci used Ragazzo Solo, Ragazzo Sola, the Italian version of David Bowie’s A Space Oddity. Io e Te stars Tea Falco and Jacopo Olmo Antinori.

In The Dreamers, Bertolucci featured a great Patti Smith song, Power to the People. The Dreamers starred Michael Pitt, Louis Garrel, and Eva Green.

The theme from The Last Emperor was composed by Talking Heads’ David Byrne and it won the Oscar for Best Music Original Score.
