911 Emergency: These Italian Girls Are ON FIRE

What do Laura Bispuri, Giorgia Farina, Francesca Archibugi, Alba Rohrwacher,  and Micaela Ramazzotti have in common?

They’re all women, and they’re all ON FIRE.

Check out these three films from directors Laura Bispuri, Giorgia Farina, and Francesca Archibugi.

Laura Bispuri’s ‘Vergine Giurata’ (Sworn Virgin), part of the Tribeca Film Festival lineup. Stars Alba Rohrwacher and will without a doubt turn heads in the USA. The film is the fascinating story of a “sworn virgin”, an Albanian woman that has taken an oath to live the rest of her life as a man.

Giorgia Farina’s ‘Ho Ucciso Napoleone’ (I Killed Napoleon) looks HILARIOUS, with Micaela Ramazzotti as a woman scorned and out for revenge. It’ll be in Italian theaters TOMORROW!

And don’t forget Francesca Archibugi’s ‘Il Nome Del Figlio’ (An Italian Name), also starring Micaela Ramazzotti, as the woman who wants to name her son Benito. The birth of the baby in the film is actual footage of Micaela giving birth!
