Just in case you you think “I Love Italian Movies” is an empty label, it’s not.
I love Italian movies.
I’ve been writing about Italian movies for years now, and I’ve been watching them get better and better. Here at the Tribeca Film Festival, I’ve been privileged to meet some of the very best that Italy has going on right now. I am always genuinely enthusiastic about the films that I love, but once in a while I am just CRAZY in love with Italian movies, and today was one of those days. No one should even be allowed to have this much fun. I met the director, cast, and producer of one of the best of the best.
Audiences were deeply affected by director Laura Bispuri, who came with her stunning film Vergine Giurata, Sworn Virgin, starring Alba Rohrwacher and Flonja Kodheli.
