I’ve already made my schedule for Lincoln Center’s Open Roads: New Italian Cinema 2015.
The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced the lineup for 2015 Italian Film Fest, June 4-11 at Lincoln Center in New York City. Opening night is the North American premier of Cristina Comencini’s Latain Lover starring Virna Lisi in her final screen performance.

3:30 La Foresta di Ghiaccio (The Ice Forest)
6:30 Latin Lover (Q&A with Cristina Comencini) Wild horses couldn’t keep me away from this one. It stars Francesco Scianna, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, and Virna Lisi and was directed by Comencini.

1:30 N-Capace/N-Able (I’m going to admit it. I have no idea what this is.)
4:00 Fino a Qui Tutto Bene (So Far So Good)
6:30 I Nostri Ragazzi (The Dinner) Directed by Ivano De Matteo, this one’s not to be missed. (Q&A with De Matteo). I was there for the premier at the Venice Film Festival and watched it twice, but I can’t wait to see it again, and hear the director speak.
