Happy Birthday to Barbora Bobulova, a Slovakian actress who has been starring in Italian films since the nineties.
The gorgeous and talented Bobulova can be seen these days in the United States in the award-winning Black Souls (Anime Nere). In this film, she’s Valeria, the rich housewife in Milano that doesn’t seem to care and/or want to know where all the money is coming from. In her mind she’s separated herself from the “crooks”, her relatives, that are doing her husband’s dirty work.

She was wonderful in Ivan De Matteo’s ‘The Dinner’, I Nostri Ragazzi, playing the “Barbie” wife of a guy who never seems to see eye to eye with his brother. When the brothers and their wives share a big problem, the friction between them all is intensified. The Dinner premiered at the Venice Film Festival and will be screened at this year’s Open Roads: New Italian Cinema at New York’s Lincoln Center.

You can watch her on Amazon Instant as the young Coco Chanel in the movie, Coco Chanel with Shirley McClaine.

Take a look at some of her other work, and help us wish her tanti auguri!
