Given that it’s Fox Searchlight that’s required the distribution rights for Paolo Sorrentino’s La Giovinezza (Youth), we’ll all probably get to see it here in the USA. The English language film stars Rachel Weisz, Jane Fonda, Michael Caine, Paul Dano and Harvey Keitel and will premier at Cannes next Wednesday.
More good news from Matteo Garrone, “the script is already there, the idea is maturing, meanwhile we’ll see how it goes at Cannes.”
And for what?
“We could make a sequel to Tale of Tales, with 3 or 4 stories that are already chosen and ready, or seeing that they’re so popular these days, a TV series”, revealed Garrone. The Tale of Tales Cannes premier is tonight! It stars Alba Rohrwacher, Salma Hayek, Vincent Cassel , Toby Jones, John C. Reilly, and Giselda Volodi.
