“Number One”, “Authentic”, “The Best of the Best”: Actress and Comedian Paola Cortellesi
She’s the first women to win the prestigious award, given with the Nastri D’Argento in Taormina this coming Saturday.
The “Premio Nino Manfredi” is an award that honors Nino Manfredi, an Italian comedy icon in the ’60s and awarded by his widow, Erminia.
Said Erminia of Paola Cortellesi, “I am proud to award Paola Cortellesi, distinguished in all of the disciplines of performance and who has prominently taken the scepter from great actresses like Monica Vitti and Mariangela Melato.”
The prize will be awarded Saturday night with the other Nastri D’Argento in Taormina on Saturday. Congratulations Paola!
