The film, tomorrow, and the TV series next year.
Here’s what I know for sure:
a. Suburra, the highly anticipated film from Stefano Sollima will be in Italian theaters tomorrow.
b. A 10-episode TV series based on Suburra will be Netflix’s first Italian original series, and it WILL be available in the US next year.
Here’s what I’m waiting for confirmation to be sure:
c. Netflix will debut the film the same day in the Americas. That’s what I’m reading, and I’m not sure why I don’t quite believe it yet, but if that’s true and I’ll let you know for sure when somebody gets back to me (I have reached out to everyone I know to find out).
Or we’ll just wait for tomorrow and see.

Starring, Pierfrancesco Favino, Elio Germano, Claudio Amendola, Alessandro Borghi, Greta Scarano, Giulia Elettra Gorietti, Suburra is the exciting story of the real-life 2014 scandal surrounding the Roman seaside town of Ostia, criminals and corrupt Vatican and political leaders battle over the town and the surrounding territory, each with its own agenda.
