Italy’s darling, Paola Cortellesi is pregnant and packing heat.

It arrives in Italian theaters November 13, the new film directed by Massimiliano Bruno and starring Paola Cortellesi, Alessandro Gassmann, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Ilaria Spada and Stefano Fresi.
The script comes from a play by the same name that Bruno and Cortellesi (THE MOST UNDERRATED personality in cinema today) brought to the stage from 2005 to 2007 and is about a simple woman, nine months pregnant and married to a great guy (played by Gassman), but whose life is starting to fall apart.
When she loses her job, she decides to take justice into her own hands, directing her anger at the new cop in the neighborhood, played by Fabrizio Bentivoglio and we can’t wait to see the a pregnantissima Cortellesi with a gun pointed toward a very frightened Bentivoglio. It’s a comedy, so we’re guessing it’s something funny, not tragic.
Non vedo l’ora.
