I’ve been tending my collection, and weeding out the dead Netflix.
I hadn’t checked the list in a while (sorry), and I was alarmed to see all the all the Italian films that had been pulled from the Netflix Streaming.
The good news: I was amazed to find new films for rent on YouTube, quickly becoming my favorite source. Be aware that we have not yet figured out to rent the films on tablets, but the collection is huge and the price is very affordable.

Search features for Italian films on YouTube, Netflix, Amazon and Vudu are a joke, and at times it seems like they are hiding them, but we won’t give up the hunt.
Help me! If you see a dead link, or find a new film somewhere, let us know. In the meantime, I will fight the good fight, and hey Netflix, you suck for pulling Caterina Va In Città. (Sorry, it had to be said.)
I Love Italian Everything 
The trick is getting YouTube to display in Full Desktop mode, and renting from Safari, not the YouTube app. This link explains how to get to Full Desktop mode.
