Here’s an event listed for April 4:

Caro Diario / Dear Diary (1993) followed by Q&A with Director Nanni Moretti

Mon Apr 4th 10.00am – 12.00pm
New York Film Academy17 Battery Pl #521, New York, NY 10004, USA map

The Q&A with Nanni Moretti following the screening will be moderated by NYFA President Michael Young.

Nanni Moretti directs himself in a semi-autobiographical film in the style of a documentary. Presented in three chapters, Moretti uses the experiences of traveling on his motor-scooter, cruising with his friend around a set of remote islands in search of peace to finish his new film and consulting doctor after doctor to cure his annoying rash to cast a humorous look at his life and those around him.

Nanni Moretti is an Italian film director best known for his films Caro diario (Dear Diary, 1993; followed in 1998 by a sequel, Aprile) and La stanza del figlio (The Son’s Room, 2001), the latter of which won the Palme d’Or at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival.
