…like I do, this is what you’d have access to. Here’s my April order. Well, actually I have two of them.

Region free DVD players open the world to you, and let you buy films from all over the world, not just Italy. Most have to option to watch with English subtitles but some do not, so check before you order. I order from ibs.it but you need to know a little Italian to do that. Amazon has a great selection too.
The DVD players are cheap, in fact, the cheaper the better. Mine cost $40.
You may have noticed I have copies of Suburra on both orders that I am waiting for. That’s because it’s my favorite film of the year and I want to give a copy to a friend. You can stream it right now on Netflix!

Get that region free player and you’ll be able to see the film that Italy sent to the academy awards and has been nominated for multiple Italian academy awards (The David di Donatello), Non Essere Cattivo, starring Luca Marinelli and Alessandro Borghi.

Another film that has been nominated for Davids, L’Attesa, from director Piero Messina and starring Juliette Binoche.

And I’ll finally get a chance to see:
Checco Zalone’s newest, the HUGELY successful (over 65 euro a at the box office) Quo Vado.
