I found this on YouTube, some stills from the new Emma Thompson movie, Effie, starring Dakota Fanning and Riccardo Scamarcio. A lawsuit put the project on hold for the movie that should have been released last year, but Thompson prevailed and Effie will be in theaters in May.
Effie is about the mysterious relationship between Victorian art critic John Ruskin and his teenage bride Effie Gray, played by Fanning. Filmed in Venice, it looks like a gorgeous period piece and Riccardo looks, as usual, very handsome in the 19th century get-ups.
