Happy Birthday to Marco Giallini, the Roman who turns 50 today and is turning up in more and more films as he ages.

In 2012 he was awarded a Nastro D’Argento (Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists ) for his roles in A.C.A.B.: All Cops Are Bastards and Carlo Verdone’s Posti In Piedi In Paradiso (A Flat for Three) and was nominated for a David di Donatello award for those movies as well.

I loved him in A.C.A.B. but he completely won me over in Paolo Genovese’s Una Famiglia Perfetta (A Perfect Family) as the Fortunato, the actor hired to help an eccentric rich guy (Sergio Castellitto) have a perfect family for Christmas.
