Marco’s a hot property right now, and Americans will see him soon in Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers) and Se Dio Vuole (God Willing).
Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers) is the only Italian film at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, but lucky for us, it’s a winner. From director Paolo Genovese (Immaturi, La Banda Dei Babbi Natale), it stars Giallini with Alba Rohrwacher, Edoardo Leo, Giuseppe Battiston, Valerio Mastandrea, Kasia Smutniak and Anna Foglietta. During a dinner party, seven friends decide to play a dangerous game. Each attendee places their cell phone on the table and agrees to make all texts and calls public in an attempt to prove that they have nothing to hide.
And if you can’t make it to Tribeca, you’re still in luck, you can see him in Se Dio Vuole (God Willing) with Alessandro Gassman, screening in 7 cities thanks to Italian Film Festival USA.
